This was a relativly easy weekend for the BCB...The guys had Friday off, but were back in action on Saturday at Lone Star Bar-B-Q in Dublin, TX...A huge thanks to Chris, Katie, & the entire LSBBQ gang for your hospitality & friendship...If you're every in the Dublin area, swing through & try the BBQ Chicken...So with our little absence, we never had the opprotunity to tell everyone how amazing this years 2nd Annual Music For Mika Benefit went...As you may, or may not know, we had Cooder Graw, Susan Gibson, 1100 Springs, BCB, Kyle Hunt Band, Joey Green Band, Steve Tenpenny, Jason Herrin, & Loose Cannons on this years bill...Well, let me tell you, the gates opened at 1:00 & by 3:00 there were 500+ folks, chillin out in lawn chairs & blankets enjoyong the music, the different vendors, food, & good ol "cold pops"...The turn out was amazing & with the donations, the live auction, & the raffel drawings, we raised right at $14,000!!!!! ALL BY DONATIONS!!!! All the proceeds went to Kids And Cars, which is a beautiful organization thats lobbies for child safety in & around automobiles....WOW!!! We even had a surprise visit from Janette E. Fennell, Founder and President of Kids And Cars, AMAZING!!!! So thank you so much to everyone who attended, helped out, donated, & helped spread the word, there are so many of you & without you, this would not have been possible, THANK YOU...Extra special thanks to 95.9 & 106.9 The Ranch for advertising M4M & being kind enough to allow Bart to come on the air to help promote the show...We also would like t0 welcome the new road manager, Clint Spurrier, to the band...So be sure & stop by the merch booth & harrass him at the next show...Have a great week...BCB
