 Hey all you music lovers and whatnots.... This past weekend we learned alot about people. The best lesson we received is that no matter how nice you are to folks, they harshly come back at you unexpectedly. There may be no rhyme or reason to it, but it happens. We tend to think that we are very hospitable and gracious on our road trip ventures, and usually expect the same in return. When it doesn't work out, feathers are ruffled and tensions are flared. We must learn to let the water pass under the bridge and keep on keeping on. There's always next week. We also learned where Jewish people are and are not from. Hell, we didn't know they weren't from Spain! L'Chayim and cheers! Okay.... that's off my chest. We had a great time this weekend playing at a couple of our favorite joints. Sharpies on Friday night allowed us to finally release the album to those Louisiana folks. Even though she didn't work, it was great to see our buddy Kay at the show. Thanks to those peeps there for keeping us going and for having us back. What's better than eating a pb & j with grandpa and fishing for catfish? Not too many things, but one of the them might be playing at Adair's Saloon on a Saturday night. Probably one of the best venues in Dallas, Adair's always has enthusiastic crowds and some of the hottest women around. Thanks to Lois and staff for making this trip a blast as always. Thanks to Ronny for playing bass for the gigs. It's a pleasure as always to have you on the road with us. See you next time! God bless the rain that we enjoyed all weekend. It was bittersweet to drive through, because on one hand we need it so badly and the other is that it was hard to drive through. We must have seen a dozen cars off in the ditch because of reckless driving. It's raining people, slow the hell down!!
