BART CROW - DIARY

Saturday's gig officially ended the busiest week in the history of the BCB... With shows Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, life is good.

We've enjoyed getting out there and being able to give listeners something to take home with them in the small cd sized package. Above all, this will enable people to not forget about "that good band out there last friday, what was their name?" It's nice to see the interest and enthusiasm that we see each show. Thanks.

With that being said most of the shows this week were good stepping stones in the world of the BCB. The Suede Bar show in Dallas allowed some folks to pick up the record and start spinning the hell out of it in big 'D'. Outskirts bar in Wichita Falls was cool in that the next time will probably be a headline gig. The Wormy Dog in Oklahoma is a great place to play and to be heard. Many bands come through the Dog's doors on their way. It was good to be back in Stephenville to hang out with our old and new friends. The Bostocks show was great and everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves. Thanks to Ronny & Danielle for giving us a place to crash. We hope you enjoy your pie. Dedicate a piece or two to us. Thanks to Montana Restaurant for always being so good, especially after a night of partaking heavily. We love you and would marry you as soon as they find a way for that to be legal.

The long road trip ended with the return trip to Shelton Hall in Palestine. I would say that there were at least double the crowd as last time. There sure are some characters out east, but we wouldn't want it any other way. Thanks Rollie, Andre' (seriously the guy must have been 7.8 or something!) and everyone else we got the pleasure to meet. We'll see you next time.
