BART CROW BAND DIARY

OMG!! What a great weekend in the life of the BCB. Here's the breakdown:

First off, in Gun Barrel City, we discovered that the town is a little bigger than we thought. What doing Gun Barrel? Why don't you have a few people living there. Anyway, the gang at Sisters Cafe was very cool and definitely want us back. I kept hearing from the staff that the BCB is the best band to come through that place. I have heard that in the past from other bars, but it never gets old. That night we began selling the record.

Then off to Peel Country Steakhouse where we knew the show would be huge considering it's hometown to Paul and close to hometown for Bart. As soon as we arrived to the show people were lining up to buy the long awaited CD. Why can't every show be that way? So, once the band started, I noticed that people kept creeping in little by little and soon the place was jamming. Probably the largest crowd the BCB has played for in quite a while which was nice to see. What was even more cool, was to see tons of people on the dance floor shaking it like they just don't care.

Sidenote: Is there a rule in Ellis county that states "every female must be smoking hot."? Seriously folks, it's almost ridiculous the amount of hotness that live there.

Okay, come back, buddy. It was nice to see all of the familiar faces, friends, and family come out to support the cause. Besides the dancing and the crowd, we sold a bunch of CDs! So, at this moment there are people crusing the streets rockin' out to the BCB. Speaking of radio, 99.5 the Wolf spun "Wear My Ring" on the Front Porch Show Sunday nite. Thanks to all those who called in to request the tune.

How about that rain on Saturday night? It started about the time the band was wrapping up and it made for an interesting tear down because the lights went out. Nobody seemed to mind, though, we'll take a little rain in exchange for light.

Finally...
